All payments for services/products are non-refundable, and there are no refunds or credits for unused or partially used services or service cancellations. However, all services paid for can be rolled over and utilized for up to one (1) year, with special circumstances (see “Service Interruption” below).
Fee Payment Guidelines
Heart Night Services fees are paid in advance for single service arrangements prior to the service being provided. Heart Night Services Customers will be billed at the same time each month according to the billing schedule designated at the time of enrollment. Payment obligation is based on the hours provided within the package agreed upon. Monthly package billing will occur even if the service is not utilized during any month. Customers have up to 90 days to utilize missed monthly service. Missed time may be rolled over for two months (60 days). At the beginning of the third month, customer will be notified that they must utilize at least one missed month or it will be lost.
A $25 late payment fee applies for any payment not received five days after the billing cycle date. If payment is not received five days after that date, an additional $10.00 fee per day will be charged.
Service will not be provided to the family until both the payment and the late fee are paid in full. A personal check cash or credit card will be accepted for payment; however, if a check is returned for any reason and we incur any bank charges from the return of your check, those charges will be added to the billing until paid in full. After 2 check returns, all further payments must be made in cash or credit card. Non-payment or consistent late payments is cause for immediate membership termination without prior notice.
Late Home Arrival
Please contact your provider if you know that you will be more than 15 minutes late. If you are more than 15 minutes late, you will be billed the flat rate of $10.00 for the entire hour. Parents will be billed this same flat rate for each additional hour exceeding the service time, up to two (2) hours. If you are going to be more than two (2) hours late, your Emergency Contact will be called to relieve the Provider, if necessary, and parents will be billed the flat rate of $20.00 an hour, or any portion thereof, until either the Emergency Contact or the parents arrive.
Heart Night Services understands that life happens. We account for this by allowing our customers to continue receiving services after 90 days of inactivity, if Heart Night Services is properly notified.
If a life event occurs that prevents the family from enjoying their time away, we will inactivate their account, but preserve the time paid for. When you are prepared to reactivate your account, your rolled over time can be utilized. However, after one year, the time that has rolled over will expire and can no longer be utilized.
